CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Moisture
The worktops' high pressure laminate is impervious to water. However the adhesive
or core material may not be, any incidental spillages should be wiped up to
avoid water ingress.
Heat
The worktops'
high pressure laminate will withstand temperatures in excess of 100'C, however
damage may result if cooking utensils taken from a direct heat source (or
electric irons) are placed onto worktop surface. We would recommend always
using a suitable protection against direct contact with excessive heat. N.B.
Burning cigarettes should not be left on the surface.
Scratching
The worktops are extremely durable when subject to the normal wear and
tear of everyday life. Extra care should be taken with sharp cutlery,or kitchen
utensils which may cause scratches. We would recommend that a protective mat
or board be used when chopping food.
Cleaning
Your worktop
can be easily maintained with regular cleaning using water and a mild detergent.
Stubborn stains may be removed with a non-abrasive cleaner. Never use abrasive
cleaners, oven cleaners or scouring pads. To maintain the appearance of your
worktop, we would recommend following the guidelines below.
